Description

This panel is to control 2 pumps to maintain the pressure of water in pipes of a multi floor flat. In this 1 pump controls through DOL & other one is controlled by VFD. The pressure need to maintain between 2.5 to 3bars. Initially both pumps will runs at full speed, when pressure reaches to 3bars, DOL motor will stops & other motor will run at it half speed (VFD control). Again, if pressure falls bellow 2.5bars both pumps will runs at full speed. This process is controlled by Genie.

Pressure Control Strategy

Low Pressure

Below 2.5 bar

Both pumps run at full speed

Optimal Range

2.5 - 3.0 bar

VFD pump at variable speed

High Pressure

Above 3.0 bar

DOL pump stops, VFD at 50%
